Book Review by Mandla: "Adolf Hitler A Study in hate" by Jeremy Roberts
This is one of the strongest leaders in German history. Hitler did a lot to bring Germany to life. German culture and the economy was in a deathbed. The shackles of the Treaty of Versailles was milking Germany dry.

Book Review by Nomalungelo: "The Dark Child by Camara Laye"
This is an account of a childhood in Eastern Guinea in 1930. The child grows up watching his father smelt gold and making jewellery. As he grows up he experiences that there is a snake guiding his father's success. This is respected in the home. He tells of his African traditions and circumcision rituals. This book is ideal for persons interested in African culture.

Book Review by Nonkqubela: "J.K Rowling" by Cath Senker
It's about the author, Joanne, of the Harry Potter series of books. Her passion of writing began at home. Her parents liked to read to her. She developed the love of writing. She inspired a lot of children. Some of her books were not liked by religious people as they thought she was promoting the love of witchcraft, but in terms of reading, kids love it.

Born in 1973 Inglewood, California, Tyra Banks Started modeling at the age of 17. Her career kicked-off immediately. She has also acted, hosted television shows, directed and produced a film. Book Review by Rouvaun - Arnold Schwarzenegger: Total Recall - My unbelievably True Life Story
This book is written with a warm heart. From his childhood, to bodybuilding, his life as a family man, Hollywood movies and into politics. His story inspired me a lot - how he worked hard to achieve his success. Young bodybuilders could be inspired and motivated by his stories. Highly recommended as it's a fun read and full of insight.

Book Review by Joshua - Attila the Hun: Barbarian Terror and the Fall of the Roman Empire by Kelly Christopher
This book is factual based and full of information of the Roman Empire, more than Attila the Hun. I don't think this should be a biography because it doesn't talk a lot of Attila's life

Book Review by Kim: Gerard Sekoto - My life and work by Barbara Lindop
Lindop introduces us to the vibrant water-coloured life of Gerard Sekoto. By using a collection of his works, Lindop illustrates his journey from his birth in the Lutheran Mission Station to a young boy with a unique talent that would become recognized as one of the earliest South African modernist and social realist artist. Lindop explores Sekoto's life and times in the 1940's from Sophiatown to being exiled in Paris and how his identity as an African sustained him during the most difficult times.

Beautiful, deceptively simple memoir of the author's life as a small in the 50's living in Brakpan, an old location. Experiencing the Apartheid struggle through the eyes of a child. Very funny as well.

Book Review by Deirdre: Blue Remembered Hills by Rosemary Sutcliff
Acclaimed children's author, Rosemary Sutcliff's autobiography describing her early years up until the publication of her first book. A wonderfully inspiring account of a remarkable woman who overcame a crippling disease and a lack of education to become a renowned author.
